The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a technical instructor and course developer for safety, industrial, and general training. This position functions as a subject matter expert (SME) for the analysis, design, development, implementation, execution and evaluation of education and training, including involvement in program analysis and assessments, course development, course instruction, and training documentation.

• May be required to travel to perform temporary duty
• May have extended/other than normal duty hours

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
• Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
• Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
• Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
• Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
