What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisory Financial Specialist position at Air Force Civilian Service?
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Financial Specialist (NH-0501-04) t to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Patuxent River, St. Mary’s, MD.
Qualifications/Requirements: As a key leader in the CV-22 Joint Program Office (JPO), the CV-22 CFO will lead all Air Force financial management activities and operations. Working with Navy counterparts, the CV-22 CFO will direct execution of SOCOM and Air Force multi-year appropriations to acquire and sustain joint capabilities for the CV-22 fleet. Additionally, the CV-22 will supervise a team of 5 Air Force personnel and additional contractor support. U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain a Security clearance This is a designated Drug Testing Position (if applicable) Certifications/Licensure (if applicable) DAWIA Certification (if applicable) Financial Management Statement (if applicable) Top 3-4 job related KSAs: Leads, directs and performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analysis and estimates of funding needs for one or more future budget years. Prepares and/or assembles information in support of formal presentations of budgets and requests and reviews before OMB and/or Congressional committees. Provides financial advice on complex financial issues; assessments of implementing decision and develops programs. Performs supervisory duties of up to 4 civilian and contractor personnel at the first level. Provides financial management direction and technical assistance and support to the AF, SOCOM, and Joint Program Office staff in an integrated planning, programming, budgeting, execution and closeout program for financial resources. Evaluates and advises on pending and current Congressional, OMB, DoD, USAF and Comptroller General decision and recommends courses of action. Conducts financial and cost reviews to determine resource requirements based on actual and forecast workload. Salary : $142,488 - $195,200
