In this position you will assist the director in implementing and supervising on-going developmental childcare and preschool programs for children six weeks through 5 years of age in the child development center.
Requirements

Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical with up to date immunizations
- The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty
- This position is a child care/youth services position and is subject to background checks in accordance with AFI 34-144, Child and Youth Programs as a condition of employment.
- May work an uncommon tour of duty or irregular shift or overtime.
- Must be available to support Mobility or Readiness Center {RC} operations in an exercise or contingency situation.
- 1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in early childhood education, child development, or related fields is required; or a combination of education and experience.
- 2. Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood philosophies, concepts, and developmentally appropriate activities for children ages six weeks through 10 years.
- 3. Knowledge of Air Force/DoD regulations governing child development, sanitation, safety and personnel practices. Must complete all training, security clearances, and medical requirements including Pediatric First Aid with Rescue Breathing.
