Salary: $51,933 to $81,029 per year (Represents the GS-7 to GS-9 salary range for the Eglin, FL locality, commensurate with experience)
Position Summary
In this position, you will serve as a Management Analyst, the key civilian responsible for the continuity and success of the unit's core programs. As military members rotate, you will be the stable foundation, managing everything from deployment readiness to internal inspections and awards. We are looking for a reliable, self-starting professional who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is comfortable taking initiative. This is a slower paced but highly impactful role perfect for someone with a background in military unit operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Experience: Previous experience in a military or DoD environment is strongly preferred. Experience with Air Force unit-level programs is highly desired.
Skills: Must be highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word). Candidate must be a proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Continuity Program Management: Serve as the detachment's anchor for key programs, managing inspection checklists (McT), records management, and ensuring compliance with Air Force Instructions (AFIs).
Readiness & Manpower Coordination: Function as the Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) or be willing to attend training. Coordinate personnel actions and readiness requirements for a unit of 220 military members.
Unit Program Oversight: Manage the unit's awards program, training processes (TNT), and other administrative functions vital to morale and effectiveness.
Personnel Support: Act as a key interface for incoming and outgoing personnel, calmly guiding them through processes and providing exceptional customer support.
