Qualifications/Requirements
In this position, you will serve as a senior IT leader and primary technical authority for major information technology initiatives supporting the AFMETCAL mission. You will shape long-range IT strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex systems that directly support mission execution.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Experience leading IT teams and coordinating technical work across multiple stakeholders.
Experience designing, developing, or managing IT systems and applications.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into existing architectures.
Knowledge of software development tools and methods such as Oracle database architecture, PL/SQL, Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, Visual Basic, HTML, and Agile development techniques.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct IT or cyber activities to meet mission and customer needs.
Ability to assess system performance, identify improvements, and develop solutions that enhance mission effectiveness.
