The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Information Technology Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-13 to serve as a senior administrator assigned to the A1 Digital Transformation Activity, Field Support Branch, who have the responsibility to provide technical assistance to the Air Force community and other federal agencies with application and network accounts in the personnel data systems (military, civilian) and unique human resource applications, systems and networks that support the AF worldwide.
Salary Range: $108,001 to 140,403 based on experience.
This position has the authority to set Advance In-Hire Rates for Cyber Workforce Positions for those who qualify.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices for integrating information system components sufficient to plan, coordinate, and administer computer systems, and optimize system performance.
- Knowledge of methods and practices involved in the integration of system components sufficient to optimize system performance.
- Knowledge of the latest advancements in technology to initiate corrective or preventative action to ensure optimum performance of the system.
- Ability to apply methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving systems to solve complex problems, provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers, and maintain liaison with industry and other activities to provide awareness of state-of-the-art technology.
- This position may include information assurance (IA) work as an additional duty. The recipient of this additional duty must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties.
