Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
- Designs, creates, and plans the construction and fabrication of permanent and temporary National Museum of the United States Air Force (NMUSAF) exhibits. Collaborates and leads the conceptual design process supporting project managers, curators, and co-designers to plan the fabrication of unique museum exhibits.
- Designs and creates detailed exhibit packages by using computer aided drafting (CAD) programs and 3D computer modeling programs to accurately convey exhibit concepts for approval by museum leadership. Exhibit packages will contain design details such as sizes, layout directions, kind and quality of materials, color schemes, typography, lighting effects, specific visual elements or materials to be incorporated, reproduction methods, and fabrication techniques.
- Designs, creates, and plans the construction and installation of interactive NMUSAF exhibits containing audio visual, interactive, and mobile interactive technologies. Research and recommend technical solutions to introduce new, state-of-the-art solutions for NMUSAF exhibitory.
