The primary purpose of this position is to lead Peer to Peer support networks and serve as a non-clinical consultant for resource referrals while providing comprehensive outreach and marketing for community and installation services. The incumbent actively analyzes issues related to unit resilience and readiness to develop strategic action plans that enhance the organizational climate for the assigned organization. This involves managing resilience programs and providing expert recommendations to unit leadership on all quality of life matters impacting the mission and its members. By collecting and evaluating varied unit metrics—such as DEOCS surveys, AF Community Assessments, and focus group data—the individual identifies potential risk factors and creates unit improvement plans in collaboration with the installation Community Action Team (CAT). The role requires maintaining high visibility within the unit to promote Comprehensive Airman Fitness and the Wingman Concept. This includes organizing Wingman Day activities and ensuring that personnel are connected to the necessary resources during significant work center changes or personal life challenges. Furthermore, the position serves as a vital liaison and certified facilitator for mandatory training programs, including Suicide Prevention, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, and Resilience Training. As a Master Resilience Trainer, the incumbent delivers professional military education and ensures that all unit-level training is tracked and reported accurately. Through consistent marketing and collaborative relationships with helping agencies, this role ensures a fit, resilient, and ready force by encouraging early help-seeking behavior across the organization. Requirements: Obtain & maintain a security clearance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): 1. Comprehensive knowledge of available community resources on and off the installation (i.e. Airman & Family Readiness Center, Employee Assistance Program, Civilian Health Promotion Services, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, etc.) 2. Skill and ability in preparing and presenting large and small group trainings with the ability to adapt materials based on a variety of audiences. 3. Ability to develop and present reports for senior leadership. 4. Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel, including senior leadership, with tact, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism. 5. Skill and ability to effectively teach, lead, and assist with committees, working groups, and teams. 6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, organizations, and individuals to identify, establish, modify, and provide referral assistance. 7. Working knowledge of computers: Computer systems/software, databases, and statistical techniques. 8. Ability to compile and analyzing trends and survey data to provide recommended courses of action.
