The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Budget Analyst GS-0560-09 to work at the Spectrum Warfare Group (SWG) on Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA.
Relocation/Recruitment incentives may be available.
Salary Range: $61,722 - $80,243 per year, based on experience.
Up to 25% Travel requirements.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.

Qualifications/Requirements
In this position, you will serve as a resource advisor/budget analyst performing day-to-day control and management involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of the organization’s budget and funding requirements.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files.
- Education requirements: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0500/budget-analysis-series-0560/
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.

- Knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget in support of the mission, structure, goals, work processes, and programs of assigned activities/organizations.
- Knowledge of automated data processing software programs and capabilities used to accomplish budget/funding tasks.
- Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing sources of factual information, such as that found in accounting reports, payroll records, work reports, or inventory and supply data.
- Skill in preparing written forms, schedules, and reports related to the obligation and expenditures of funds.
- Ability to make oral presentations on the budget and conduct budget-related training to a variety of audiences.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends.
