The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for full time Senior Budget Analyst (GS-0560-13) to work at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
Join the elite team at NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N&NC) located at Peterson Space Force Base in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. In this critical role within the Requirements, Analysis, and Resources Directorate (J8), you will serve as the primary Fiscal Manager. You will be instrumental in guiding the Commands' resource management allocation processes and ensuring that multi-year programs and budgets are balanced, executable, and aligned with Commander priorities for North American defense.
Salary: $109,246 - $142,022
Position Type: Permanent position
Telework: Up to 20% telework, NOT a remote position
Travel: Up to 25% travel
Incentives: Recruitment, Retention and Relocation incentives may apply, superior qualifications, advance leave accrual
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience requested

Qualifications
- US citizenship is required.
- This position has been designated as Special Sensitive. The employee is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
- Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files.
- Designated as a Test Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- Required to submit an initial and annual OGE/SF-450 (Financial Disclosure).
- Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the NDAA 2012.
- This is a KEY position IAW 32 CFR, Part 44 Appendix A. Position cannot be vacated during war or national emergency.
- Eligible for situational telework only.
