We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable professional to join our team in a role that supports operations across multiple Air Distribution Technologies Inc. (ADTI) facilities. While this position is based onsite at our Koch Filter plant in Louisville, KY, it plays a critical role in supporting initiatives and collaborating with teams at various ADTI locations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and traveling as needed to provide cross-site support, drive consistency, and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 IT support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network connectivity, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- System Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and network devices to ensure optimal functionality.
- User Assistance & Training: Offer end-user training on new technologies and software to improve efficiency and adoption.
- IT Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the Field Tech Manager and IT team to maintain servers, storage, and other critical systems.
- Security & Data Protection: Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures to protect business data and IT infrastructure.
- Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and IT assets to ensure timely upgrades and replacements.
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Contribute to the development of plans that ensure business operations remain uninterrupted in case of IT failures.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party vendors for technical support and hardware/software procurement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures for reference and continuous improvement.
- Additional Duties: Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 4 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows-based networks, IT hardware/software, troubleshooting methodologies, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to changing business needs.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 20% travel may be required to support other business locations as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and handling of computer hardware and tools.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Work Environment:
