Key Responsibilities
- Receive daily work assignments and instructions from the Production Supervisor.
- Interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including work orders, blueprints, and part lists.
- Prepare for assembly by gathering necessary tools, components, and materials specific to filter production (e.g., filter media, frames, adhesives).
- Accurately position and align parts using templates, jigs, or measurement tools.
- Assemble filter units by securing frames, inserting media, sealing edges, and inspecting for proper fit and finish.
- Perform quality checks using rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure product meets specifications.
- Identify and report any issues with materials, equipment, or assembly processes to supervisor.
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and 5S standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of assembly supplies and notify supervisor of shortages or restocking needs.
- Completely required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Support team goals by assisting coworkers and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
- Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse and facility grounds as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1 year of experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency for accessing work instructions and logging production data.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and written instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measurement accurately.
- Good judgment and attention to detail in performing tasks and solving minor assembly issues.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and vibration.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on task.
