ACC - Controller

Position Summary: The Controller will lead the accounting team, manage the company's financial records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and working closely with senior management to guide the company's financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the budgeting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and provide variance analysis to senior management.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Internal Controls:
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Regularly review and update accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Set goals and objectives for the team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in long-term planning and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications:

• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
