Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Inventory Control Specialists supporting one or multiple customers; hire and train additional team members as needed.
- Create and implement processes and procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reporting, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage and enhance daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counting programs; implement new programs as needed.
- Partner with Operations and Account teams to identify and resolve issues impacting inventory accuracy.
- Develop strong expertise in internal WMS and reporting systems to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform inventory analysis and generate KPI reports to support decision-making and operational improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 5 years of experience in a distribution environment with strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and inventory control practices.
- Experience operating fork trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds and performing various physical movements as needed.
