Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Setup
- Load, bend, and unload brake lines using CNC tube bending equipment
- Perform machine setup, including tooling selection and installation
- Load, verify, and run bend programs per work instructions
- Monitor production runs and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Verify first-article parts before full production runs
Quality & Production
- Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Complete required quality and production documentation
- Identify and escalate equipment or quality concerns promptly
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of machine or program issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency
Teamwork & Safety
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet demand
- Follow hazardous material handling and PPE requirements
- Keep workspace clean, organized, and aligned with 5S principles
- Train and assist team members as needed
Culture & Collaboration
- Promote a culture of open communication, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Participate in team building, training, and company-wide initiatives to strengthen engagement and performance.
- Model AGS values in day-to-day interactions and decision-making.
- Demonstrate increasing ownership of machine setup, troubleshooting, and process efficiency over time

- Brake lines are consistently bent to precise specifications
- Programs and tooling areas set up efficiently, minimizing downtime
- Work is performed safely, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaboration with teammates leads to smooth, efficient operations
- Demonstrated growth in troubleshooting and CNC programming skills
Qualifications and Requirements
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating CNC equipment or tube bending machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, bend data, and work instructions
- Dependable attendance and commitment to quality and safety
Preferred/Beneficial
- Experience operating CNC tube benders in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with US20 CNC Tube Bender or similar equipment
- Experience with BendPro G2V3 or comparable tube bending software
- Previous involvement in machine setup, tooling changes, or process improvements
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 9:30pm
Pay Range
$20/hr - $24/hr
