The Product Specialist plays a key role in bridging product knowledge, operations, and systems. This role supports product setup, data accuracy, and cross-functional communication while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data & ERP Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product records within the ERP system
- Support product setup, revisions, and lifecycle changes
- Ensure data integrity across part numbers, BOMs, routings, and specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve product-related system issues in partnership with operations and engineering
Documentation & Technical Support
- Review, interpret, and maintain product drawings and technical documentation
- Support document control practices to ensure correct versions are accessible and in use
- Assist with product-related change documentation and approvals
- Serve as a resource for internal teams regarding product specification and requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams to support product needs
- Communicate product updates, changes, and clarification clearly and timely
- Participate in meetings and work sessions using Microsoft Teams to align priorities and timelines
- Act as a connector between systems, people, and processes
Operations & Floor Support
- Spend time on the production floor as needed to understand processes and product flow
- Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot product or process issues
- Apply mechanical aptitude to better understand how products are built and used
- Support operational needs during peak periods or when additional coverage is required
Organization & Execution
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong organization and follow-through
- Proactively identify open items and drive them to completion
- Maintain clear tracking of tasks, changes, and deliverables
- Demonstrate a self-starter mindset, able to move work forward without direction
Continuous Improvement & Quality
- Identify opportunities to improve product data accuracy, documentation, and workflows
- Support standard work and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies
- Participate in improvement projects that enhance efficiency and clarity

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Experience working with ERP systems required
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred
Physical Requirement
- Ability to move throughout office and production environments
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
- Visual and mental attention required for data review, drawings, and systems work

Salary & Bonus

Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $78,000 annually
(Range is based on experience, skills, and role alignment within the organization.) -
Bonus Eligibility:
Eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 10% of base annual salary, based on individual, team, and company performance. -
Total Compensation Opportunity:
Approximately $77,000 – $85,800 annually when bonus targets are achieved.
