Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role based in Burley, ID. The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, and vehicles. On a daily basis, the candidate will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace or repair defective components, and collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance. Additionally, the Mechanic will ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery, vehicles, and heavy equipment
- Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance, including inspections and lubrication
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to understand technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, lifting, and working outdoors
- Prior experience in agricultural mechanics or a related field is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus
