Your tasks and responsibilities Developing methods for quantum communication using fiber and free space links. Performing experiments using quantum communication testbenches. Model and analyse experimental data. Conduct and perform hands-on laboratory and conceptual work equally. Desired skills and qualifications Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within computer science/electrical engineering/communications or similar. You have a solid understanding of the principles of quantum mechanics and a strong interest in quantum information or quantum communication. You are familiar with basic optical components and have experience with assembling and aligning of optical setups. Ideally you are familiar with Linux and the basic command line tools, as well as with Python based programming. Fluent in English or German.
