Role Overview We’re seeking a Coding Instructor to lead structured after-school sessions for grades K–8. This position emphasizes hands-on coding projects that encourage creativity, digital literacy, and teamwork.
Key Duties
- Teach beginner coding lessons once a week.
- Guide students through collaborative coding activities.
- Provide lesson plans and progress updates to the program coordinator.
- Manage and care for class devices and materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in educational settings.
- Reliable transportation to Oakland and consistent Wednesday availability.
- Dependable and committed to completing the Fall program.
Candidates may also be considered for assistant or substitute teaching roles.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
