About the Position
Affordable Movers is hiring a Real Estate Site Selection Specialist to find properties that support our company’s operations and expansion. Your main responsibility will be identifying suitable locations, visiting properties, contacting owners and brokers, and bringing qualified options to company leadership.
We need someone who takes initiative, follows through, and enjoys being out in the field. This position involves frequent travel to company-designated markets and requires someone comfortable managing their schedule and keeping multiple property searches moving.
Responsibilities
- Search for commercial properties available for lease or purchase in targeted markets.
- Identify locations that meet company requirements for space, pricing, truck access, parking, and operational use.
- Actively contact property owners, landlords, commercial brokers, and agents.
- Find opportunities through online listings, local contacts, and in-person scouting.
- Travel to potential locations, conduct property walkthroughs, and document findings with photos and detailed notes.
- Gather rental rates, purchase prices, proposed terms, availability, and estimated additional costs.
- Research property-use restrictions and coordinate verification of suitability with the appropriate parties.
- Compare properties and present clear recommendations to leadership.
- Support discussions on pricing and terms, with final commitments subject to company approval.
- Maintain an organized tracker of properties, contacts, follow-ups, and next steps.
- Provide regular updates on qualified opportunities, challenges, and progress.
Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, leasing, property sourcing, sales, business development, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills and confidence making outbound calls.
- Ability to research opportunities, compare costs, and identify properties that fit specific requirements.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
- Comfortable using online property platforms, spreadsheets, email, and mapping tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between property locations.

Compensation
Annual salary of $55,000.
