Affordable Movers is seeking a dependable, hands-on manager to oversee daily moving operations in Louisville. This position requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to hold a team accountable while maintaining professional service standards.

The manager will coordinate crews, monitor job progress, address operational concerns, and work closely with company leadership to keep the location running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise movers and drivers throughout daily operations.
• Coordinate crew assignments and ensure teams arrive prepared and on time.
• Monitor job progress and communicate scheduling changes or delays.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and service expectations.
• Verify that crews have the equipment and supplies needed for each job.
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, damages, and employee concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational records and follow through on outstanding issues.
• Assist with training, employee accountability, and hands-on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in moving, transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and remain professional under pressure.
• Willingness to work alongside the crew when needed.
• Reliable attendance and availability to meet operational needs, including weekends when required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
