Role: Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac, Telemetry, Neuro, and Stroke unit.
Responsibilities: Provide age-appropriate bedside and virtual nursing care, monitor patient status, communicate care information, assist with medication reconciliation, perform patient and family education, and document interactions using EPIC. Act as a resource to bedside RNs and respond to patients' physical and psychological needs.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; ACLS and NIHSS certification within six months of hire. Preferred candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of inpatient acute care experience.
Skills: Knowledge of patient care, strong communication, and documentation skills. Ability to respond appropriately to diverse patient needs.
