Mission description
The Vice President of Sales directs the overall function of the Sales department, including all Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Administration activities and to achieve Company's budgeted goals. Reporting to SAO CSS VP Sales & Marketing, the VP Sales Americas is accountable to meet the sales objectives for the Americas area (North, Central & South America). Its main missions are: Manage the sales team Meet the spares Order Intake and MRO Sales objectives for each Services Center (College Park, Van Nuys, & Menomonee Falls) Achieve the sales objectives for Civil and Helicopter markets Define and execute sales plans per Service Centers Meet success rate objectives on Must Wins Identify leads, manage the Americas opportunities funnel using the CRM (SalesForce) Contribution to demand review and forecast business for MTP, Budget, Actu and ROFO Ensure compliance to SEL processes and lead projects to improve process maturity Communicate on Sales activities and successes DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Directs and supervises all relevant functions of the Sales department to achieve established goals. Overall responsibility for preparation and submission of accurate sales quotations on all company products and services to customers. Ensures all terms and conditions submitted by customers are being reviewed by department personnel in depth to protect the business interest of the Company. Coordination with Contracts Department in France, as well as other divisional departments as required. Review all quotations and purchase orders of major contracts. Directs and conducts customer relations and correspondence and correspondence in a manner to establish and maintain optimum customer relations. Aligns and attends trade shows with sales team to maximize impact of targeted show while minimizing cost exposure for the show. Formulates sales policies and procedures or revisions to established policies to achieve established sales goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Directs and oversee sales forecast input activities to Supply Chain interfaces. Establishes systems to effectively communicate sales inventory needs to Supply Chain. Maintains a sound plan of department organization to best facilitate the management, control and coordination of all sales and customer service activities. Makes certain through proper selection, training, development, and placement of department personnel, that all positions within the department are filled by individuals qualified to meet the requirements of their respective assignments.
