Aegis is seeking Foil Stamping Machine Operators for a client in Niles, IL. This position is on a THIRD shift, the hours are 9:45 pm-6:30 am. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- 2 years of foil stamping machine operating experience
- Manufacturing/production experience
- Experience setting up and operating foil stamping equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues
- Strong understanding of foil stamping techniques and materials
- Ability to perform quality inspections
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Ability to use measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 3rd shift
Nice to Have:
- Experience with specialty/high-end packaging or commercial printing
- Experience with multiple types of foil stamping equipment
- Experience performing machine maintenance
- Experience working with production documentation and job tickets
- Continuous improvement/process improvement experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
