Sheeter Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Sheeter Operator to join a growing manufacturing team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for operating sheeter equipment to convert large paperboard rolls into accurately cut sheets that support press production needs. Schedule

• 1st Shift: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM
• Overtime: None

Pay

• $25 – $35/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheeter equipment to cut paperboard to required specifications
• Retrieve paperboard stock from the warehouse using a forklift
• Read and interpret production tickets and work orders
• Verify proper material selection, grain direction, and job specifications
• Run and inspect test sheets to ensure quality and accuracy
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production flow
• Perform quality checks and identify defects or inconsistencies
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work closely with production and press teams to support workflow efficiency
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• 3 years of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience, preferably clamp forklift
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Basic computer skills

Preferred

• Sheeting and/or paperboard experience
• Experience operating Pasaban sheeter equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility regularly
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
