They are seeking a Sheeter Operator to support production operations within their press department. This role will focus on operating sheeter equipment, verifying production specifications, performing quality checks, and supporting smooth workflow within a fast-paced packaging environment.
Responsibilities:- Set up and operate sheeter equipment to cut paperboard materials to specification
- Read and interpret production tickets and work orders
- Verify proper grain direction and material specifications before production
- Run test sheets and inspect finished material for defects and quality issues
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make production adjustments as needed
- Retrieve and move paperboard materials using a clamp forklift
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain workflow and efficiency
- Maintain safe and organized work areas while following production procedures
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience operating production equipment in manufacturing environments
- Forklift experience (clamp forklift preferred)
- Ability to read production documentation and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Sheeter equipment experience
- Paperboard, packaging, folding carton, or print manufacturing experience
- Pasaban sheeter experience
