Location: Smithfield, NC
Pay Range: $29 - $32hr
Role: Industrial Maintenance Technician
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Maintain and repair processing equipment.
- Maintain and repair facilities equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on processing and plant equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical troubleshooting.
- Communicate and document work performed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or asked of by management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent aptitude and demonstrated experience in the following trades required:
- Mechanical repair;
- Fundamental electrical 24V to 480V troubleshooting repair and installation;
- Working knowledge of PLC’s. Servo motors/drives, AC/DC variable speed frequency drives;
- Mechanical troubleshooting;
- Plumbing/pipefitting;
- Welding and fabricating;
- Machine tool;
- Electrical troubleshooting; and
- Facilities maintenance.
