We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator to support quality inspection processes in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and running CMM programs, performing dimensional inspections, and ensuring accurate reporting of measurement data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and run CMM programs for dimensional inspection
- Create and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Review blueprints and apply GD&T to ensure accurate measurements
- Inspect parts, components, and assemblies to verify quality standards
- Assist with fixture validation and gauge calibration as needed
- Support first-piece inspections and production buy-offs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of CMM programming and inspection experience
- Experience with PC-DMIS (2020R or newer)
- Strong ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience inspecting sheet metal or machined components
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Automotive or aerospace experience is a plus
