A rapidly scaling, physician-centric healthcare platform is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. Reporting directly to a highly experienced Controller, this role offers significant ownership and visibility within a well-capitalized, startup-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Own critical components of the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results.
- Partner closely with leadership to streamline and optimize the close process, driving meaningful reductions in the current ~3-week timeline.
- Support revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including analysis of complex, multi-entity revenue streams and related accounting considerations.
- Assist in enhancing GAAP compliance by developing and implementing standardized accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the integration and alignment of accounting processes across multiple operating entities, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a robust internal control environment and improved financial reporting processes.
- Play a key role in building a scalable accounting infrastructure to support the company’s continued growth and operational complexity.
- Operate within a cloud-based accounting environment, leveraging QuickBooks and related systems to maintain efficient financial operations.
- Assist in ERP evaluation and potential system migration initiatives, including process mapping, system selection, and implementation support.
Experience
- 3–8 years of accounting experience.
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge with experience owning portions of the close.
- Exposure to revenue recognition and multi-entity accounting environments preferred.
- CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required.

Compensation
- Target base salary: $100,000 – $115,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Discretionary Bonus (5% Target)
