Accounts Receivable Specialist | Owner Operator Developer | Luxury Residential
A prestigious and very successful Manhattan based real estate owner, operator and developer is seeking an ambitious Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a stable and profitable company that owns a large portfolio of residential luxury rental properties. The Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR) will handle the designated portfolio of properties.
Responsibilities:
- Properly record, reconcile and apply cash to correct accounts for all properties
- Issue appropriate charges for late fees, damages, key replacement, electric fees
- Oversee move in and move out process and properly posting into the system
- Maintain accurate resident records by reconciling tenant’s ledgers to correct irregularities
- Issue appropriate changes to rent and subsidy adjustments
- Complete monthly reconciliation requests and month-end reports for the property accounting team.
- Communicate with property operations team and district managers regarding resident issues, repairs, and concerns.
- Other responsibilities and special projects as needed and assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience with real estate accounts receivable and billing.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Yardi, MRI or Appfolio software experience is a plus
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 plus bonus, comprehensive health benefits, 401k and many other valuable perks…
