Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Vice President, Technical Services for our Information Technology Practice, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this role is to produce revenue and profit growth from IT staffing business, and to grow market share across all key technical markets.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

• This position will work closely with the VP, Project Solutions to provide strategic leadership and support regarding the pursuit, design, and delivery of new Statement of Work (SOW) and project-based solutions to our existing clients and new prospects across the country.
• This role will also be fully responsible to develop and implement additional strategies to drive the profitable growth of the IT staffing practice within Advantage Technical.
• This position is responsible for key solution development, training of sales, recruiting and other staff, direct client-facing support of sales presentations and proposal development, pricing approvals and contract negotiations for new opportunities.
• Oversee and manage offshore IT partnerships with secondary partners/vendors. Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and cost-effectiveness. Establish strong working relationships with all external partners and vendors.
• Review, develop and direct the operational strategies, processes, and procedures for the IT Practice to ensure the highest possible performance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Engage with all shared services support necessary for the effective operation of the IT Practice nationwide. These shared services units include Legal, Risk, IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance and HR.
• Participate in the client-facing sales lifecycle of all new IT Practice opportunities, to ensure the quality and consistency of messaging, to ensure deliverables of all parties are achievable and acceptable, and to ensure all commitments are reasonable and fiscally responsible.

This position requires that you have strong business acumen with a focus on aligning IT Practice strategies with overall business objectives. In-depth knowledge of the IT industry, core domains and emerging trends. Ability to develop relationship, have strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Must have the ability to understand data and communicate the insights it provides and be KPI and metric driven.

Holds ambitious standards for performance and able to motivate this high standard in others. Holds high standard for customer service and problem resolution. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and efficiently.
