Senior Buyer – Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain

Pay Range: $100,000–$130,000/year

What You’ll Do
- Strategic Procurement — Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Negotiate purchase orders and long‑term agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Perform detailed price/cost analysis to support competitive procurement decisions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support program schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, trends, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other federal procurement regulations.
- Support procurement audits and maintain documentation aligned with CPSR requirements.
- Utilize Costpoint ERP for procurement workflows and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience, including 7 years in procurement/purchasing and 3 years in senior‑level procurement roles.
- Strong understanding of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.
- Hands‑on experience with Costpoint ERP.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex procurement tasks independently.
