Operations Manager - Direct Hire
Location: Midway, GA
Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year
Schedule: Full-Time
We are hiring an experienced Operations Manager for an exciting opportunity at a new 300,000 sq. ft. distribution facility in Midway, GA. This is a great role for a hands-on leader with warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, and team-building experience. The proper candidate will NOT oversee Production or Mfg. This role is a bit more clerical in a nature. The successful candidate will be setting up all operations, building teams, hiring, ensuring orders are correct, reconciliation of orders, ensuring there is enough product for production, working with vendors, and submitting proper paperwork. The proper candidate should also be familiar with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help launch and organize daily operations for a new distribution center.
- Build teams, assist with hiring, training, and staff coordination.
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Reconcile orders, inventory levels, and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain product availability.
- Generate reports, track KPIs, and support operational planning.
- Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and workflow management.
- Improve processes, maintain efficiency, and support growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in operations management, warehouse management, or logistics leadership.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, order management, and vendor relations.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Planning, problem-solving, and team development experience preferred.
