What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Advantage Technical?
- Analyze production issues, equipment downtime, scrap, and defects to identify solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies.
- Support quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvements.
- Monitor manufacturing performance metrics, including yield, scrap, and throughput.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, FMEAs, control plans, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve productivity and product quality.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, and production constraints.
- Support audits, process validations, and compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1 years of manufacturing, process, production, or continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and quality systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with Excel, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis.
