Advantage Technical is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrical Technician with a leading manufacturing company in Sturbridge, MA. You'll be the go-to person that keeps advanced production equipment running at peak performance. What You'll Do (Job Duties)
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Install, validate, and commission new automation equipment
- Execute and document preventative maintenance programs
- Read, interpret, and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Support cleanroom and controlled-environment manufacturing operations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality on process improvements
- Maintain electrical component and spare parts inventory
- Ensure full compliance with LOTO, Arc Flash, and OSHA safety standards
What You Bring (Experience)
- 3 years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Proven PLC troubleshooting skills (ladder logic, control logic)
- Strong ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with motors, drives, relays, and industrial control components
- Solid electrical safety knowledge - LOTO and Arc Flash required
- Bonus: Cleanroom experience, Opto 22 or similar platform, robotics/automation exposure
