Human Resources Generalist
Location: Kokomo, IN
Pay: Up to $25.28 per hour
Schedule: Must be flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends
Are you an HR professional who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, employee services, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee relations activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily HR functions including employee leave tracking, records management, reinstatements, and employee inquiries
- Assist with workforce planning, staffing deployment, and administrative HR processes
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
- Support labor relations activities and assist with collective bargaining agreement administration
- Analyze HR data and reports to support business decisions
- Help drive continuous improvement and employee development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- At least 1 year of Human Resources experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Manufacturing, labor relations, or union environment experience preferred
