What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Advantage Technical?
- Train on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) for approximately 2 months
- Flexible training schedules may be considered for qualified candidates
- Accurately weigh, measure, and load raw materials according to batch specifications
- Operate industrial mixing equipment and automated control systems
- Monitor production processes through HMI and computerized interfaces
- Collect product samples for quality testing and inspection
- Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S practices
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and equipment monitoring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read work instructions and follow standard operating procedures
- Experience using measuring tools and quality inspection equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt training preferred
