Job Responsibilities
As a caregiver, your goal is to assist with daily living activities and provide consistent support. Key duties include:
- Personal Care: Providing assistance with bathing and dressing.
- Health Support: Offering timely medication reminders.
- Nutrition: Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
- Household Management: Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.
- Errands: Assistance with grocery shopping or other essential local errands.
- Companionship: Engaging in conversation and activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Pet Care: Must be comfortable in a home with a friendly cat.
Schedule
We offer a flexible afternoon/evening schedule three days a week:
- Monday: 3 to 5-hour shifts (Start: 1 PM or 3 PM; End: 6 PM or 8 PM)
- Wednesday: 3 to 5-hour shifts (Start: 1 PM or 3 PM; End: 6 PM or 8 PM)
- Friday: 3 to 5-hour shifts (Start: 1 PM or 3 PM; End: 6 PM or 8 PM)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health preferred.
- Reliable transportation for commuting and errands.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to follow a care plan and manage time effectively.
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a cat.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
