Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Aide (HCA) to provide dedicated one-on-one support for an individual in Batavia. This role is focused on assisting a client with vision impairment, ensuring they can maintain their independence and comfort within their home.
We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, patient, and proactive in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Providing assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Daily Living Support: Assisting with mobility and navigation around the home due to vision challenges.
- Housekeeping: Performing light laundry and general tidying to ensure a safe, clutter-free living space.
- Errands & Transportation: Handling grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or assisting with other essential errands as needed.
Available Schedules
We offer flexibility and are looking to fill one of the following shift structures:
- Option A: 5 days per week (3 hours per shift)
- Option B: 3 days per week (5 hours per shift)
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, Caregiver, or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation for running errands.
- Ability to follow specific care plans and maintain a consistent routine.
- Comfortable working with individuals with visual impairments.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
