Optician – Full Time (Paid Training Provided)

About the Role

We are a private optometry practice seeking a full-time Optician to join our team. This role is focused on helping patients choose, fit and understand their eyewear while delivering an exceptional in-office experience.

You’ll work closely with both patients and clinical staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy, communication and patient care matter just as much as product knowledge. Paid training is available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on their prescription and lifestyle needs
• Take precise measurements for eyewear fitting
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings and care instructions
• Adjust, repair and dispense glasses
• Process orders and communicate with labs/vendors
• Coordinate with doctors and team members to ensure accurate prescriptions and a smooth patient experience

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position with consistent weekday schedule
• Hourly base pay
• Commission opportunity based on optical sales and performance

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
