Adelphi is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver on-site speech and language services to students with disabilities at a school in Rockville, Maryland. The clinician will support K–12 and/or Infant & Toddler populations according to IEPs/IFSPs and the needs of students, families, and the educational program.
Location and Details
- Location: Rockville, MD (school-based)
- Facility Type: School
- Employment Type: Contract
- Schedule: 1–5 days/week, up to 7 hours/day (specific schedule to be determined)
- Rate: $60/hr
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience with pediatric and school-based services and IEP-related supports preferred
- Familiarity with early intervention and family/caregiver coaching preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Screen and assess students with suspected speech and language disabilities
- Develop and implement IEP/IFSP goals and individualized speech-language service plans
- Provide direct individual and/or group therapy
- Collaborate and communicate progress with teachers, families, and educational teams
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to special education decision-making
- Maintain lesson plans, service logs, progress notes, and required documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
