What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Adecco Permanent Recruitment?
We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead overnight operations, drive equipment reliability, and support a high-performing manufacturing team in a fast-paced food production environment.
Maintenance Supervisors:
- Assign and oversee tasts of the maintenance team D
- Ensure optimal productivity by ensuring equipment is maintenaned
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Supervise and develop Maintenance Technicians; provide performance feedback and training
- Create, assign, and close work orders using SAP; ensure accuracy and accountability
- Partner with Production to align maintenance priorities and maintain operational standards
- Identify and implement process optimization projects using TPM and Lean principles
- Coordinate utility outages, upgrades, and contractor activities
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and food safety standards (SQF, FDA, PMO); promote a zero-loss safety culture
- Conduct audits to ensure work is performed according to SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records, manuals, and inventory of parts and supplies
Candidates should possess:
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability
- Understanding of TPM, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies
