What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Director position at Addison Group?
A well-established, growing tax advisory firm in Flagstaff, AZ is looking for a Director-level CPA to step into a leadership role with a strong, existing book of business. This firm works closely alongside a wealth management practice, serving an increasingly high-net-worth client base and taking a proactive, planning-forward approach to tax strategy.
They are open to someone who lives in the Greater Phoenix area and can go on-site 2 days a week (1 overnight).
This role is open due to a planned ownership succession. You'll be inheriting a thriving client base with full support through the transition. No cold business development is expected; the firm is selective about who they work with and has more demand than capacity.
You'll have real influence over the direction of the practice from upgrading technology and workflows to mentoring a growing team.

- 4–7 years of experience minimum with high-net-worth individual and small business tax
- Background in wealth and estate tax planning
- Comfortable managing and deepening existing client relationships
