Job Description:
The Mailroom & Printing Operations Assistant will support daily print production, mailroom services, and general office operations for a busy corporate environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital print and copy equipment, including Canon or similar production machines
- Process print requests submitted electronically and in person
- Support incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail distribution
- Coordinate courier and package deliveries through major shipping providers
- Troubleshoot minor printer and copier issues and escalate service needs when necessary
- Answer employee questions related to print requests, shipping, and mail procedures
- Maintain inventory levels for toner, paper, and mailroom supplies
- Assist with meeting setups, office moves, and general facilities support tasks
- Provide occasional front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and answering phones
- Maintain organized workflows and communicate effectively with internal teams
- 1–3 years of experience in a mailroom, print center, office services, or professional office environment
- Experience working with Canon digital press equipment or comparable systems preferred
- Familiarity with printer/copier troubleshooting and mail handling procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
