Position Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will manage essential accounting functions, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to the overall health of our financial records. You’ll play a key role in the monthly closing process, financial data management, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Assist in the monthly close process by preparing and reviewing account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in accounting operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to integrity.
