Our client is seeking a Probate Paralegal to provide support on probate, trust administration, guardianship, and conservatorship matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file probate-related legal documents and court pleadings.
- Assist with trust administration matters, including notices, inventories, accountings, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, fiduciaries, and court personnel.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings and related tasks.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files.
- Coordinate attorney schedules, deadlines, and case-related activities.
- Draft correspondence and provide updates on active matters.
- Deliver professional and compassionate client service throughout sensitive legal proceedings.
- Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to support efficient case management.
- At least 1 year of probate experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
- Experience in estate planning, trust administration, elder law, or property law is also highly valued.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
