We are seeking an experienced NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector in Windsor, CT with hands-on Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT) experience to support aerospace component inspections in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing immersion ultrasonic inspections, equipment setup and calibration, interpretation of inspection results, and documentation in accordance with NAS 410 standards, customer specifications, and approved procedures.
This position operates within a collaborative inspection cell environment alongside inspectors, technicians, and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform immersion ultrasonic inspections and evaluations on aerospace components
- Set up, calibrate, verify, and maintain immersion UT equipment and transducers
- Interpret inspection results and determine acceptance/rejection based on specifications and procedures
- Document inspection data, calibration settings, and evaluation results accurately
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and NDT procedures
- Support inspection workflow and production schedules within a team-based environment
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Current Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification under NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT) experience
- Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing inspection experience preferred
- Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, sound beam physics, transducer selection, and data interpretation
- Experience with inspection traceability and quality documentation systems
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative inspection team environment
