Job Description:
We are seeking an HR Specialist to support a wide range of human resources functions within our organization. This role is responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration while ensuring HR processes run efficiently and in alignment with company policies. The HR Specialist will also serve as a resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR practices and supporting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring documentation.
- Support new employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain personnel files and HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters and assist in resolving workplace concerns.
- Collaborate with managers on performance and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee questions.
- Assist with payroll processing and related HR transactions.
- Develop, update, and standardize job descriptions.
- Communicate policy updates and provide training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- 2–4 years of prior experience in HR generalist or specialist roles.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
