Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our client, a growing manufacturing organization. This role will lead all HR operations and establish the HR function, providing strategic guidance while remaining hands-on with employees. The ideal candidate is proactive, experienced in building HR teams from scratch, and capable of partnering with leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, including the employee handbook.
- Build and expand the HR team to support a growing workforce.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and leadership, offering guidance and practical solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven, hands-on experience building HR teams, designing policies, and implementing procedures from the ground up
- Demonstrated history of stable employment, reflecting reliability, dedication, and long-term career commitment
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with hands-on experience collaborating across cross-functional departments
