The Human Resources Manager oversees all HR functions across domestic operations, ensuring alignment with company policies, regional labor laws, and best practices. This role provides strategic leadership and operational management for HR business partners, benefits, succession planning, training and development, performance management, payroll and global workforce initiatives. The manager ensures HR strategies support both local business objectives and reinforce the company’s position as an employer of choice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and manage the Human Resources team, including HR business partners.
- Adapt swiftly to evolving business needs and diverse regional requirements, yet remains decisive and consistent in upholding company policies, driving reliable outcomes across all HR functions.
- Oversee company-wide benefits administration, payroll, and compliance with domestic employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement global HR strategies and policies that align with organizational goals and cultural differences across regions.
- Partner with international divisions to ensure consistent, equitable HR practices and coordinate expatriate assignments and mobility programs.
- Design and administer succession planning programs to identify, retain, and develop key talent across markets.
- Create and manage training and development programs to advance employee growth, leadership readiness, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Direct the annual performance review and talent development process to promote continuous feedback and accountability.
- Guide leaders on employee relations, performance issues, and policy interpretation across various cultural and legal environments.
- Evaluate and enhance HR systems, processes, and structures (organizational development) to improve efficiency and global consistency.
- Manage compensation and reward programs that support local competitiveness.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages collaboration across global teams.
- Maintain current knowledge of international HR trends, laws, and best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in alignment with varying regional regulations.
- Manage the HR department budget and resources effectively across multiple countries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, building strong relationships across domestic and international teams.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources or a related field; 10-12 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years leadership experience and strong financial acumen.
- Experience within an international environment (ideally European companies).
- HR certification like SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) highly preferred.
